I can't believe this was our first visit to Saugatuck this summer! We headed up Friday morning to spend the weekend with Meg and Nathan and had one of the best weekends. This place is my favorite escape. (For all things to do in Saugatuck/Fennville/Holland, check out my look here)
Virtue Cider | Friday evening we headed to Fennville to drink some cider. We've been to Virtue before and absolutely loved it. As if it wasn't good enough before - they've made it even better. A new lawn with more picnic tables and lawn games. A must-go for people visiting this area.
Boating | On a pretty summer day, being on a boat is hard to beat -- that's why we like to rent one for a few hours when we come to visit. Big Lake Outfitters is blocks away from the main drag of town which makes it super convenient to rent one of their pontoons and head out for an afternoon in "party cove." Sandwiches from Farmhouse Deli are necessary for boat picnics.
Red Dock | Before turning in our boat, we popped over to Red Dock for some beers. This quirky dock bar is lake perfection - hilarious (read their signs), loud, and right on the water.
Earl's Berry Farm | We couldn't leave Michigan without some U-Pick. With blueberries in peak, we headed to Earl's to pick some to take home. Love this place.
