Travel | Mexico City | Day 3

Our final day kicked off with brunch at Eno (another Enrique Olvera's spot because I slacked off and didn't get us a dinner reservation at Pujol... oops). Post brunch we headed to Bosque de Chapultepec to tour the Castillo de Chapultepec, the only castle in North America that sits on a hill in the park overlooking the city. With only an afternoon left and a million restaurants still on our list, we decided a bar/taco crawl was in order... we walked the Paseo de la Reforma (which closes down to traffic on Sundays, allowing TONS of bikers to ride about), then stopped at Bravo Loncheria (love), La Guapachosa (my absolute favorite for so many reasons... their margarita was my favorite ever, shrimp tacos to die for, and everything in between was perfect too), Contramar (upscale and outstanding food; their tuna tostadas are out of this world and what inspired the dish on SF's Tacolicious' menu). Last, but certainly not least was a stop at Azul Condesa (another upscale spot with every flavor of margarita, all delicious). A busy day led to a lazy night where we prepped for our departure and reflected on our days. A great escape.
