Travel | St. Barth: Part I

Where do I even begin. This was one heck of a trip to celebrate A turning 60. The whole gang headed down to St. Barth for the week and kick back in the sun. Our week was full of sun bathing, eating, drinking, hiking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, shopping, boating, and more sun bathing. I'd like to go back now. Being a small island, it's crazy how much there is to do -- a week wasn't enough time to do it all.

Day 1: We headed out bight and early to start our adventures, CMH > ATL > Saint Maarten. When we arrived in Saint Maarten, we were shuttled to the marina to hop on a boat for our 1 hr. (windy/rocky) cruise to St. Barth. We then headed to our beautiful hotel, Le Soreno, where I'd absolutely stay again if we come back. The layout, the rooms, the style, the location - it was all pretty perfect. When we arrived to our home for the next week, we hopped into our swim gear and hit the beach for a cocktail. Before we knew it, it was already time to prep for dinner at Le Ti. A funky restaurant known for their burlesque show and late night dress up, we were jumping into the St. Barth circuit with both feet.

Day 2: Happy Mother's Day! Our day started out very relaxing - breakfast beachside + yoga with the amazing Nanda Mortier on the pool deck. The rest of our morning was spent in the pool and ocean before heading to Nikki Beach for sushi + rose at the "wild wild west" party. Our wild afternoon of dancing on tables meant a relaxing afternoon on paddle boards in the crystal clear water. Playing catch up from long travel and a late dinner the day before, we stayed in and enjoyed dinner at Le Soreno.
