Travel | St. Barth: Part II

Day 3: Happy Birthday, A! This was one of my favorite days of our trip -- packed full of so many fun things. Our day kicked off with a champagne brunch before a trip to the amazing Saline beach. The weather, the turquoise water, the "kiddie pool" -- this beach was perfection. Once we were feeling a bit crisp, we headed to Gustavia to grab a bite at Le Select (the cheeseburger in paradise). Back to the homestead we went, walking down the beach to La Gloriette for an afternoon pina colada before dinner time. Dinner at Bonito. Where do I even begin, this place was one of our favorite dinners... ever. The ceviche, the cocktails (insanely delicious and the presentation was top notch), the atmosphere, the music. All spot on. A perfect way to end A's 60th birthday.

Day 4: We started our morning with yoga before heading into Gustavia for crepes and some shopping. After a little retail therapy, E and I headed for a drink at Eden Rock. This place is great for afternoon drinks or dinner. Sit beachside and watch planes takeoff from the airport. Once back at Le Soreno, we beached + pooled it for the afternoon, making a stop down the beach at O'Corail for a drink. The day flew by yet again, and it was already dinner time. We had cocktail hour at Le Soreno before dinner in the gardens at Tamarin. This place is perfect for kids (or without) - with paths winding through the property, little seating areas are tucked away in tree covered nooks. It really feels like you're in a jungle. Wish we would have come early to enjoy this stunning place in daylight.
