Our Weekend

A perfect weekend. After work on Friday E and I headed to our new gym to play tennis. We hadn't played in such a long time, but we had much fun and look forward to getting back to being good. Home was our next and last stop of the night -- we made prosciutto wrapped goat cheese stuffed dates with this recipe (thank you Kate!) and watched The Eagle.

Saturday was absolutely beautiful, which made up for it being so cold. We ventured down to Navy Pier to experience "Snow Days Chicago." Here they have dog sledding, ice games and enormous snow sculpture contest. Enjoyed wandering the Pier before heading to the movie theater to see The Grey. Home we went, to relax and get ready for the night. Our evening was spent at Social 25 for Nathan's birthday (good work Stone), McDonalds and home.

Sunday was lazy -- freezing, yet again. A morning skype session with the siblings started the morning off great, accompanied by CBS Sunday Morning. We spent the day watching Season 1 of 24, which E has never seen!?? I recall few things from it, which makes it just as exciting for me as the first time I watched it. To the grocery we went to get supplies for cooking dinner. Our meal was all Barefoot Contessa -- panko crusted salmon and baked parmesan risotto. Ina has yet to disappoint! We will spend the rest of our night curled up watching a movie. Hope everyone had a great
