Saugatuck Getaway

What.an.adventure! Car breaking down, being locked out of Chez Shea, Erv, Stefanie, clubbing, trying to trade a CD for chicken fingers at 2 am, and best of all... life talks.

We made it in late Friday night after some car trouble, grabbed Marro's pizza then hit the town. Some piano bar action at Annex, then pool at Coral Gables. Saturday was rainy and the day we picked to play golf. Though the weather wasn't ideal -- Meg and I had much fun enjoying mimosas and being curled up under a blanket watching the boys play in the down pour. To the Butler for burgers then to Douglas to bowl. We enjoyed a great cocktail hour on Phil's patio before another delicious meal. We went to Sand Bar to catch live music, then to White House to catch some more. The night ended Sunday morning after too much red wine. My abs are still hurting from so much laughter. Sunday was a slow day, as we all were a bit tired. We wandered along the water, then had a picnic on the beach before heading out of town. Back to the city... back to reality. Good news is I think we got Meg and Nathan hooked -- will be back frequently!
