The review: This week we headed to the West Loop (where all the best spots are found!), first to Little Goat for a cocktail, then on to Maude's Liquor Bar. We've been meaning to go here forever and after getting yet another recommendation this past weekend -- we just had to go. The atmosphere is simply wonderful. We chose to dine upstairs where it is a bit darker and more intimate -- brick walls & chandeliers made for a very cozy evening. They have excellent drinks (especially their smash) and great food too. The country terrine and brussel sprouts were exceptional (may be our favorite brussel sprouts ever.) Will definitely be back here -- for drinks or drinks + dinner.
