Try it Tuesday-Chicago #68

The place: Perennial Virant

The eats:
Lamb gnocchi
Tempura asparagus

The review: I apologize for the short list of our eats -- as they are not listed on the online menu! We really enjoyed this place and would have more had we known it was BYOB before we went! This spot is part of the Boka Group (Girl & the Goat, Balena, etc.) and can be found in the Hotel Lincoln. Note: any visitors making a trip to Chicago in search of a hotel -- Hotel Lincoln cannot be beat. Pre-dinner we headed up to the J. Parker (the hotel's rooftop bar + restaurant) for a cocktail. The view of Lincoln Park and the lake is the best in town, that I know of. Dinner was great -- PV is a farm-to-table joint and the chef specializes in canning/pickling. The jars decorate the restaurant, but are actually used in most the dishes! I highly recommend the sturgeon, it was unbelievable, and the tempura asparagus + dill too!
