(Pre) Mardi Gras Dinner

Saturday we had Sam & Andrew over for a pre-Mardi Gras celebration. I couldn't pass up an excuse to make great cajun food and favorite New Orleans cocktails. We tried out 2 new recipes and they were superb -- chicken-fried oyster with roasted garlic-dill pickle sauce (thank you, Garden & Gun) and Barefoot's Jambalaya. E managed our new bar and mixed up some super delicious cocktails -- pimm's cup, "slurricane," and an absinthe frappe. This was one killer night of food and drinks, love entertaining these guys!! See you tonight for the Oscars :)
