The review: Wow. How has it been only 2 1/2 years in Chicago and already 100 Try it Tuesdays!? I'd put these two spots on my list when I first got to Chicago, and being a bit out of the way, figured this would be the perfect occasion to check them out! Maria's is cool - a bar tucked in the back of a liquor store, with the most lengthy beer and cocktail menu I've seen (good spirits menu too!). If you're in the neighborhood, this place would be a great hangout, but not sure it's actually worth venturing to. Nightwood was wonderful. The food was fabulous (that burger... yum). The atmosphere both inside and outside were great. It is a little far away from us, which makes me sad we can't visit more often. If you happen to be in the area I would highly recommend stopping in for a bite.
